Born in Nanjing, China on the 31st of October, Jin Chen graduated from the  Department of Decorative Arts in Tsinghua Academy of Fine Art in 1996. After graduating Chen worked in design, media and PR. In 2016 while living in Beijing, he started to fully engage in fine art creation and developing his personal style. The themes of traditional Chinese objects blending in with futuristic elements in addition to the decorative textures can often be found throughout his works. Chen immigrated to the US in 2022 and since then travel back and forth between China and America, looking to integrate multicultural elements into his art.
